Liisa Nessim is the founder and director of Stepping Stone Music Company. Liisa has been teaching privately for 30 years in voice, piano, guitar, ukulele, french horn and trumpet.

With a passion for music education, Julia brings over 10 years of experience as a music teacher and performer. She is excited to help students discover their unique potential and achieve their musical goals. Julia provides a safe, supportive, and fun environment for learning and she loves to foster a lifelong love of music in her students!

Laura brings over a decade of extensive experience as both a music teacher and performer to her students. She specializes in piano education for both beginners and Royal Conservatory of Music, vocal coaching and audition preparation, and beginner to intermediate ukulele/guitar/trumpet.
Trumpet/Trombone/Euphonium/Baritone
Ben studied Trumpet at Vancouver Community College and plays in a variety of ensembles and big bands around the Fraser Valley. While Ben specializes in Trumpet technique and performance, he is also able to coach lower brass instruments such as trombone, baritone, and euphonium.
